The Graphite Lab grew out of a dispatch job in Indiana and a stack of free ServiceTitan tutorials. Today we build tools that plug into the systems trades shops already run.
We started by giving it away.

It started on a dispatch board.
Our founder, Jacob Nolley, took an entry-level dispatch job at a trades shop and went deeper into ServiceTitan than almost any customer had.

Then we gave the training away.
Becoming a ServiceTitan coach meant recording dozens of tutorials. We put every one on YouTube for free. Shops trained their teams on them.

Then shops asked us to build.
The people watching wanted the tools they couldn't buy anywhere. That's The Graphite Lab: software built for how trades shops actually run.
What we believe
Three things we won’t budge on.
You shouldn't have to change how you work for us.
Most software makes the shop bend to fit it. We do the bending. Every tool is built around how your dispatcher, CSR or AP person already works.
Your team isn't the thing to automate away.
The visible part of a job is a fraction of it. The judgment, the regulars they recognize, the problem they head off before it starts. We take the busywork so your people have time for that.
Education should be free.
We got our start giving ServiceTitan training away on YouTube. The tutorials, tools and handouts we make are still free to everyone.
