FAQ
Questions, answered.
What it costs, how Rivets work, how billing works, and the rest of the questions buyers ask before signing up.
Before you buy
Plans start at $125 a month, with no seats and no per-tool contracts. An AI receptionist is one tool with its own bill. Here one subscription covers every tool in the catalog, so adding a tool does not add a bill. Annual billing is 15% off, and each tool lists its Rivet cost per run.
Only the plan you pick. You choose monthly or annual, and your plan renews automatically at the end of each period. To cancel, give us 30 days notice before your renewal date. Plan changes take effect at renewal, never mid-period. Websites have their own terms, covered in “Do I own my website?”
You own your domain and your content: text and photos. TGL owns the design and code, and you can use them while your plan is active. We release your domain within 5 business days of a request, free, and your content is a free download within 10. After your first 12-month term, you can buy the site files for $2,500.
Yes. Our tools plug into ServiceTitan and sync your ServiceTitan data, so they work from the information your team already keeps there instead of a second system. We are ServiceTitan Certified Coaches, and our ServiceTitan coaching and free tutorials came first. On a discovery call we confirm which of your data each tool uses.
Checkout is self-serve, so your plan can be active the same day you sign up. How soon each tool is useful depends on which ones you turn on and your ServiceTitan data sync, which we walk through with you on a discovery call. The first draft of a website is ready for your review within 10 business days of payment, and the site goes live after you approve it.
How Rivets work
A Rivet is the unit you spend on Products in the catalog. Your subscription comes with a monthly Rivet allotment; every time a Product runs, it consumes Rivets. Think of it as in-game currency for the platform: one wallet, spent across every Product you have access to.
Each Product is calibrated against an $18/hour burden rate. We translate the minutes a Product hands back per run into a Rivet cost. Cheaper minutes = fewer Rivets per run. The exact cost is listed on every Product page.
Yes, while your subscription is active. Unused Rivets carry forward month to month so a slow month doesn’t cost you the allotment you didn’t need. If your subscription ends, the balance is forfeited.
A rivet is what holds steel together. The metaphor fits: one currency that fastens everything in the catalog into a single subscription, instead of seat licenses on Product A and per-run fees on Product B. One wallet, one decision.
How billing works
There’s one subscription. The dial is your monthly Rivet allotment, and price scales in a straight line with the allotment you pick. No seat licenses, no per-run fees on top.
Annual is 15% off twelve months of monthly. You pay for the year up front and get the full year’s Rivets on day one, so you can front-load a busy quarter. Annual is a 12-month commitment, and it renews automatically for another year. To cancel, give us 30 days notice before your renewal date. Monthly is the default.
Yes, monthly or annual. You can change your plan, up or down, for your next period at any time. The change takes effect at renewal, and the next invoice reflects the new allotment. Nothing changes mid-period. A website needs an annual plan of 200,000 Rivets a month or more, so moving a website plan to monthly or below 200,000 ends the website at the close of your term.
Give us 30 days notice before your renewal date. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, monthly or annual, and does not renew. We don’t refund any part of a paid plan. When a subscription ends you lose access to the platform and any Rivet balance is forfeited; we don’t comp it back on return. If you have a TGL website, see “What happens to my website if I cancel?”
We do the sizing with you. On a discovery call we estimate your monthly volume across the tools you want, then send a quote with room for a busy month. You can take the recommendation, dial it up, or dial it down. We’d rather under-recommend and let you grow than oversize and create remorse.
Websites
Yes, on an annual plan. A TGL website needs an annual plan of at least 200,000 Rivets a month, paid up front, and uses 125,000 Rivets a month for hosting and SEO. The build fee is 900,000 Rivets ($4,500), paid from your Rivet balance. Widgets are priced on their own, outside hosting.
You own your domain and your content: text, photos, logos and reviews. TGL owns the design and code, and you can use them while your plan is active. Your domain is registered in your name, and we release it to you within 5 business days of any request, at no charge. Your content is a free download within 10 business days of a request. If you cancel, your site stays live to the end of the term you paid for, and we keep a saved copy for 90 days. After your first 12-month term, you can buy the site files for $2,500, one time.
It stays online through the end of the term you paid for, then goes offline. We keep a saved copy for 90 days. In that time you can restart your plan and we bring it back, download your content for free, or buy the site files. After 90 days we delete the saved copy. Your domain is yours either way.
Yes, after your first 12-month term. It costs $2,500 once. You get the site’s published files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images) and a license to use them for your own business. Forms, booking, chat, widgets and analytics that run on TGL stop working outside TGL.
